Punjab Development Program (PDP) — Provincial Infrastructure Monitoring Dashboard
The PDP Dashboard is a government-deployed monitoring platform built for the Program Management Unit (PMU) of the Punjab Development Program — the execution body established by the Local Government & Community Development (LG&CD) Department, Government of Punjab to oversee urban infrastructure and municipal service improvements across Punjab’s cities. It gives the department a single operational view of delivery across the province, combining 22 role-specific modules — executive dashboards, execution trackers, structure-wise progress, field photo galleries, safety-audit and compliance reporting — over a district → tehsil → city hierarchy, fed continuously by two Android field applications used by PMU officers on site.

The Challenge
Urban infrastructure and municipal service delivery across Punjab was tracked through disconnected spreadsheets and manual reports. The PMU and LG&CD leadership had no reliable, current view of what had actually been built on the ground — progress figures arrived late, could not be verified against field evidence, and had to be reassembled by hand for every executive briefing.
Our Solution
We engineered a single monitoring platform with role-based access spanning PMU field officers to the departmental secretary. Field teams capture geo-tagged photographic evidence through dedicated Android applications; the server validates, processes and attaches it to the relevant structure. Progress is tracked against planned S-curves, and executive-ready PDF and PowerPoint briefings are generated automatically from live data rather than assembled manually.

PDP Dashboard — Project FAQ
Common questions about the Punjab Development Program infrastructure monitoring platform.
The Program Management Unit (PMU) of the Punjab Development Program — the execution body established by the Local Government & Community Development (LG&CD) Department, Government of Punjab for urban infrastructure and municipal services.
Field officers capture geo-tagged photographs through dedicated Android applications. Each image is validated by the server and attached to a specific structure, so reported progress can be checked against visual evidence.
A Node.js and Express API over MySQL 8, with JWT authentication and role-based authorisation, served over HTTPS under PM2 on Linux. Reports are generated server-side as PDF and PowerPoint files.
Roles range from PMU field officers capturing progress on site, through district and program staff, up to LG&CD departmental leadership who consume the executive dashboards and automated briefings.
Yes. The platform runs on Government of Punjab infrastructure and is served from the official pdplgcd.punjab.gov.pk domain over HTTPS.
